SETS 8606 is now operational again !
As the first outcome from relocation of SETS rollingstock from Junee to Lithgow, our 86 class has been recommissioned and has been operated on the electrified network by Pacific National to move Sydney Train's Robel rail train in the Sydney underground on a night per month in October and November 2018. A SETS welcome back passenger trip is being planned - so stay tuned!

SETS To Introduce Magnetic-Stripe Ticketing On Tours !
Sydney's magnetic-stripe ticketing system and TravelPass will continue in operation on SETS excursions. We have arranged a new production run of magnetic-stripe Excursion Day-Rover tickets as illustrated. We have also sourced and recommissioned withdrawn magnetic-stripe equipment that will enable us to issue and validate magnetic-stripe tickets on future SETS bus and train tours.
