Locomotives 8636, 8503, 8008, 8016, 8048, 8019, 8620 and 8648 are stabled in the
Number 5 down siding in Parkes Yard. These units had been transferred
from DELEC in Sydney, and await a further transfer movement to Silverton in the far west of the
state. 22nd February 2005. Note two of the 80 class diesels are still
in the original Tuscan livery.
