Join SETS on an exclusive tour as we venture up north to visit the Dorrigo Steam Railway & Museum with the world's largest collection of heritage rolling stock.
With stunning scenery and wonderful sights Dorrigo is a bustling rural town with one very big attraction, its very own resident railway museum featuring such items as the "Bristol Bomber", multiple SMR 10 class, 4602, a Silver City Comet set and so much more. Not yet open to the public, SETS has secured a guided tour of the site with a major player in rail
preservation.
On our journey we will also have the opportunity to visit other major attractions in the north of NSW including DSRM's kindred organisation, Glenreagh Mountain Railway, and the legendary Trial Bay Gaol.
Departing from outside Central Railway Station (near the clock tower) at 8.00am sharp on Saturday we will travel north through many scenic towns and areas by bus, stopping at
Trial Bay for lunch and then proceeding to Glenreagh for the afternoon's activities. Staying overnight in comfortable accommodation in the seaside town of Coffs Harbour we will then spend Sunday at the Dorrigo Steam Railway and Museum before proceeding back to Sydney arriving home at approximately 7.00pm.
