Saturday 29th October 2005 saw SETS' Terrain Tunnel Push-Pull Tour. Utilising SETS' own locomotive, 8606, and Silverton's 8644 as distributed power (push-pull), the tour traversed the City Circle, Airport and East Hills lines to Glenfield; the Harris Park Y-Link to Katoomba and Lithgow; and the Bankstown line and Eastern Suburbs Railway to Bondi Junction.

The locomotive was run light engine from Hornsby to Eveleigh to pick up the train, and is shown here approaching Canterbury.

After traversing the East Hills line, the train changed ends at Glenfield and proceeded towards Merrylands, around the Y-link and out to Lithgow.
