Under The Wires (UTW) is a bi-monthly newsletter published by the Sydney
Electric Train Society Inc. It is distributed free to members, and is also available for
purchase by mail order and on most of the Society's rail tours and meetings. In addition,
issues are available for purchase at the ARHS Bookshop and Berg's Hobbies in Sydney (see
box at right for addresses), and at the annual AMRA Model Railway Exhibition on the June
long weekend.
Besides being the main method of communications between the Society and it's
membership, it has also become a valuable source of historical and recent information in both text
and pictorial formats.
Under The Wires is published six times a year, nominally in the months:
February, April, June, August, October and December.
Submissions for Under The Wires are always welcome and can pertain to
any aspect of electric traction in New South Wales.
